The Canè Crono pump is the basis for a family of pumps designed to address a wide range of subcutaneous and intravenous drug administration therapies.
All pumps in the range have identical general characteristics, but specific program variants are available to meet particular therapeutic needs.
All models can use either a 10mL or 20mL syringe, with a new 30mL model available in the standard Crono configuration, and all are supplied with a range of carrying accessories for user convenience. The single battery cell has a typical life expectancy sufficient for 200-300 full syringe infusions.
The CRONO ambulatory infusion pump is designed for the subcutaneous infusion of drugs for ferrochelation
therapy.
CRONO is a union of high technology and innovative design. Its reduced dimensions and weight make it ideal for home use, giving the patient the freedom to engage in everyday activities during the therapy.
CRONO uses 10 and 20 ml dedicated reservoirs. To improve the absorption of the drugs, CRONO administers 22 µl per shot.
The pusher mechanism, which operates directly on the rubber piston of the reservoir, enables the pump to
combine high delivery pressure with excellent precision while administering the drugs.
An innovative infusion control system allows the pump to automatically restart and finish an infusion after an
occlusion has been removed.
CRONO is provided with a liquid crystal display (LCD) which shows practical information to the doctor and
patient about the settings, operations and diagnostics of the pump.
The Cane Crono 30 pump is a direct derivation of the standard Crono model with an enlarged syringe capacity. This model uses the specific Crono 30mL syringe, and is supplied with a range of carrying accessories for user convenience. The single battery cell has a typical life expectancy sufficient for 200-300 full syringe infusions.
